HELPFUL GERMAN SHEPHERD FEEDS BOVINE BUDDY HAY

A helpful German shepherd helps feed his bovine buddy with hay.

When Linda Riley is doing her rounds at home in Richmond, Virginia, she is followed by a canine helper.

Faithful pooch Baron pocked up a clump of hay in his mouth and held it up high enough so his cow chum Mildred chomp away happily.

The five-year-old dog does this every day for Mildred, having learned to do this while helping Linda feed her horses.

Linda said: “Baron has helped feed our horses this way before, but this was a new one.

“He does this every day for Mildred, they’re really good friends.

“I’ve never trained him to do this before, but he also helps carry buckets for me.”
