A brave man filmed every treadmill run he did while topless on his way to dropping more than three stone in eight months.
On January 1, 2019 Londoner Billy Richards tipped the scales at an unhealthy 17 stone and was determined to change his lifestyle and physique thus embarking on his short weight-loss journey.
Unlike most New Year’s resolutions this one lasted, with the 25-year-old dropping to 13 stone and 6 pounds by August 1.
The time-lapse shows the progress that Billy made through the year with noticeable results not only to his physique, but maybe more importantly to his health and mood, which has improved immensely since starting the challenge.
Billy said: “I felt slow and unwell before I lost weight.
“Now I have so much more energy and I am a lot happier.
“I wanted to lose weight to become happier and enjoy my life more.
“I have found it quite hard, I have had a few lapses.
“I eat junk food when I am stressed so this happened a few times but I managed to get back on track.
“Everyone has said I look great now, they have noticed a big loss from my face.”
