A huge rattlesnake has been spotted chilling with a courageous cat just feet away.

The giant reptile was caught hanging out on a walk way in Laguna, Texas on Thursday (20/04).
It is believed to have emerged from hibernation following the warm weather in the area.

Local police issued a warning to residents to keep their eyes opened when out and about.
A spokesperson for Laguna Vista Police said: “The snake was relocated.

“Rattlesnakes come out of hibernation around this time of year and will be most active.
“We can confirm the cat was unharmed.”
