An underwater photographer captured found themselves swimming alongside thousands of beautiful moon jellyfish.
When sailing on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, experienced diver, Prue Wheeler, 35, spotted something unusual deep in the water.
Unable to make out what it was, the fearless underwater photographer decided to jump in to investigate.
As soon as Prue dived in, she knew what she was looking at, thousands upon thousands of beautiful translucent moon jellyfish.
Prue said: “Moon jellyfish are not dangerous. Their tentacles only give a slight sting or tickle.
“I was loving it. Moon Jelly are one of my favourite animals they are just so mesmerising to surround yourself with and to photograph.
“It felt like we were floating around in outer space.”
