A mum watching the sun rise was stunned when she captured what looks like a DRAGON catching a fireball.
Donna Gayle Gibson took the striking snap as she sat sipping coffee on her porch in Henderson, Kentucky, at 6.30am.
The eye, slim snout, ears and slender neck are clearly visible in the shot taken on Donna’s Canon.
Mum-of-four Donna, 52, said: “I was sitting on my porch as I like to watch everything waking up – the birds start singing and the sun rising every morning – it’s great.
“Sometimes I take pictures and that was just one of the days I had the camera ready.
“I never dreamt it was going to form the shape of a dragon’s head.
“At first it just looked look like a cloud and then it eased into the dragon and with the sun positioned like that it looked like it was catching a fireball, I loved it.
“It was shocking and exciting to see it form in front of my eyes, it’s unusual to get a cloud formation so vivid.”
Homemaker and care giver Donna first dipped her toe into nature and wildlife photography in 2001 when an owl ‘allowed’ her to take its picture.
Donna said: “We were driving down the road, there was an owl sitting in the tree staring at me.
“It just sat there and let me take the picture. After I captured that I wanted to keep playing with the camera and take more pictures.
“I love taking nature pictures, I just wish I had more time to dedicate to it.”
