This might be the thing to BREK your diet! A greasy spoon café is throwing processed meat caution to the wind with the UK’s biggest full English breakfast – at a whopping 4,500 calories.
Bray’s Rolls in Stockport, Greater Manchester, began serving up the huge 27-ingredient feast as a sharing box for groups of two to four – but owner Aaron Bray said it’s not unusual for hungover customers to come into the café on a Saturday morning after a heavy night and devour it all by themselves.
Vegans need not apply to enjoy the whopping £10 gut-busting platter, which features six sausages, three rashers of bacon, two fried eggs, two slices of black pudding, four hash browns and eight rounds of buttered toast – topped off with baked beans, tomatoes and mushrooms – and at 4,496 calories contains the recommended intake for nearly TWO DAYS for a man.

Aaron, 20, said: “This is definitely one of the biggest – if not the biggest – full English breakfast in the UK.
“The idea came about because customers would come in and ask ‘what’s the biggest breakfast you do?’ but then were still adding extras on for 50p at a time.
“So we thought it we could put something together in a box neat and tidy it would sell well, and the idea was born.
“At the end of the day it is your breakfast so I don’t think people care about the number of calories.
“It’s the most important meal of the day, so we can’t see why all the meat is a problem.”

Aaron said of a weekend, up to 20 of the calorific boxes can be sold, with a recent record of 35 hit earlier this month.
He added: “We think it is a good deal for £10, it is neat and tidy.”
